my updating abilities (or lack thereof)

ok, so i suck at updating... but in my defense i loaded about 30 new pictures on my computer a couple of nights ago. the problem is i haven't figured out a FAST way to put 'em up on here.
tonight was my babysitting night for catherine and emmanuel (i have one every 2 weeks). it actually went pretty well. 4 kids, fed, scrubbed, tubbed, and put off to bed. we actually had fun too. we went to the park after i picked them up from school and had a snack, we came home and did homework/played some games at the playground, ate pizza for dinner, made crepes for dessert, took baths, watched The Goonies, and then went to sleep. myriam was a bit difficult though (she'd much rather sleep in your arms than in her crib or her bed) but it was a success. everyone tells me how much patience i have and how tough it must be to have 4 kids to feed and look after and wash and get ready for bed and all, but i really had a good time. it really doesn't seem like work to me at all. now sitting in a damn lecture hall hearing a professor repeat himself explaining a topic that i didn't even want to hear about the first time while pretending like i'm really interested... now THAT is work. yeah, i don't even miss school a little. not even this much --><--
anyways, next week i'm taking the kids to Grenoble and we're going to stay with catherine's parents for a week (just me and the kids). i'm pretty excited... i just hope i can come up with enough French to keep myself afloat with them (granddad and mamooska don't speak much english)! the following week catherine and emmanuel are coming to pick us up and take us on vacation to the south of france in port camargue. i think there's going to be 2 apts and i don't have to work that week at all! it's gonna be awesome! and, almost immediately when we come back from port camargue, i'm leaving with 4 my friends to amsterdam. so, i REALLY need to figure out how to upload a lot of pictures at once because i have the feeling i'm going to have a lot.
alright, i know it's only 6:30pm EST for you guys, but it's 12:30am here and i have to get ready for bed and then be up by 8 tomorrow. haha, i think it's tougher to put myself to bed than anyone else. thursday afternoon i will upload the pictures i already have on my computer, no matter how long it takes, you have my word! they should be up by 10am your time at the latest. love, alisha
